Audio books are fun! I started listening to them a few weeks ago and was surprised that I liked them. I thought I'd hate it since I imagine the character's looks and voices all up here *points to her head* and it's all to my taste. :) I actually listened to an audio version of Just Listen. Surprisingly good.
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! you didnt take off any time for eating or showering or dressing or etc. at all though??

Yay! Congrats on completing all 48 hours!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the reading! I *LOVED* doing it too - I hope to do more hours next time myself! Thanks for also stopping by the blog! :D Love your blog also and have it bookmarked. ;D

Claps and cheers
Wow - Congratulations on your challenge results! That is fantastic. I've got 3.5 hours left. Just taking a quick blog break.
ReplyDeleteWell done. You made it through the challenge. I've never tried an audiobook. Hopefully, you'll want to read sometime (although you might want to give your brain/eyes a rest for a while).
ReplyDeleteOMG you did the whole 48 hours? I am jealous. I guess having a child in the house I couldn't do it. Congrats on reading the whole time you rocked it.
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats and well done!
ReplyDelete48 hours without stopping for anything? Isn't that kinda impossible?
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed yourself!
Wow! Impressive. I read and blogged 20 hours out of the 48, leaving time for sleeping and a few other things I needed to do. I finished 2 books. You did a great job. You didn't sleep at all?
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Congratulations on hours spent devoted to challenge. You deserve a very long rest!
ReplyDeleteGood job!
Such a dedicated reader Liyana!! Great job!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I too multi-tasked things with an audiobook while I was at work and getting ready for work. It helped a lot and helped give my eyes a break.:) I love your poster idea!
ReplyDeleteHoly Mackerel!! Seriously?? 48 hours? :-) That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! This was my first challenge and I had a great time, thanks for stopping by my blog. I love yours, it is now in my bookmark list.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the words of encouragement. I just slowed down enough to see the note and wish I would have had a chance to leave one for you while you were still at it. Looking forward to next year too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, outstanding work! I didn't think anyone else would be as crazy about this as I was.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your weekend reading! Sure got a lot done, eh?
ReplyDeleteYour stats are impressive! I feel silly that audio books didn't occur to me. I still wouldn't have been able to go the entire 48 though! You're amazing.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, that's a lot of reading! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Your "star" on the poster technique is great. I had a blast, loved meeting all of you by blog, hope to do so in person in the future.
ReplyDeleteWow! Just...wow. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThat is so impressive!!!! I love your reading center, especially the poster :)
ReplyDeleteOfficial congratulations for being a winner of the 48 Hour Book Challenge! Please email me with your address and the types of books you'd prefer. With so many winners tied for first place, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the Catching Fire ARC, so if this isn't a book that you're excited about, please let me know that too. I may have some other ideas since you're so far away.

Congrats on your 48 hours of reading. Impressive. Wish more young adults would read. Love the idea of the audio book. I listen to them as I drive.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to give yourself stars after every hour. I might try that if I participate next year!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats, girl!
