0605h: Reads The Forest of Hands and Teeth.
0700h: Decides to join the #20BoySummerParty on Twitter. Has been listening to Eoin Colfer’s Airman on audiobook during the blogging/Twittering breaks. *coughPARANOIAcough*
0712h: Airman is engrossing, but really? 11 hours and 25 minutes long? Feels like a subliminal message is being pounded into poor brain. Eyes are happy though.
0745h: Gets kicked out of #20BoySummer party. Is furious with Twitter’s tweeting limit. Listens to audiobook in peace.
0835h: Has been lying in bathtub and dozing, listening to audiobook. Mmmm, this is my kind of reading. Looks down to see prune like fingers. Finishes bath.
0912h: Urgh. Feels like audiobook is nagging. Stops audiobook. Starts to read Melissa Marr’s Wicked Lovely.
1123h: Finishes Wicked Lovely. Looks at Ink Exchange in disdain. Does not want another narrator.
1123h: Lure is too great. Reads Ink Exchange.
1302h: Finishes Ink Exchange. Doesn’t have Fragile Eternity. Is bored with reading. Sighs. Goes to read The Forest of Hands and Teeth again.
1406h: Blogging time.
The prologue was definitely what caught and held my attention. I liked reading from Aislinn’s point of view, and the love triangle is like whoa! Definitely different from what I’ve read in other books. Love this. Kudos, Melissa Marr!
At first, I was pretty resentful of the fact that the narrator’s voice didn’t belong to Aislinn. Then I grew accustomed to Leslie’s voice. Reading her story.. wow. That’s all I can say for now.
You know, I saw the book in bookstores. It doesn’t look like it’s 11 hours long if in audiobook! Nonetheless, it’s interesting. I’m only partway through it, probably barely even cracked the book. Conor is one interesting person btw. Can’t match up to Artemis Fowl, but who can? Also, I just found out that technically, I can doze while listening to the audiobook. So I’m not actually losing any time. Yay!
Anyone wanna sponsor me for the Bridget Zinn cause? Maybe donate $1 for every hour I contribute? Please and thank you!
1412h: Finishes update. Back to TFOHAT.
