I read Care's tribute to Dewey and I was touched. This is not the first time I've heard of Dewey, and sadly I've never had the chance to meet her. From what I know of her, she sounds like a lovely person, full of love and wisdom. It makes me sad that I've never met her, and won't, but her legacy still lives on, especially for people like me who's taking part in the readathon.
9. Give Me Five Mini-Challenge hosted by Chronicle of an Infant Bibliophile
My five favourite children books have to be:
a. Nancy Drew! Any one from the series, I love them!
b. Enid Blyton's fairy tales. Awh, come on. Who wasn't affected by the magic in those books, and spent the whole day looking for talking teapots? Err, not me.
c. Hardy Boys! The boy version of Nancy Drew? xD
d. The Famous Five. Mysteries and mayhem. Another amazing series by Enid Blyton.
e. Tamora Pierce's books. I read them when I was 10. Does that count?
