Update (As of February 9, 2012)

Hi everyone! Things have been a wee bit hectic with prelims coming soon. I've read loads of books meanwhile, and hope to post more reviews soon rather than leaving them in Draftsland. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. Authors/publicists: I'm currently not accepting any review requests as stated in the updated policy, but I do so appreciate that you consider this blog a worthy avenue for your books.

Waiting on Wednesday: Special Edition

on Friday, 30 October 2009
This is a special edition of WoW as... well, I can't wait for Wednesday to post this. I've been wanting to read this since I've heard of it, but the trailer really just put the "WHAM! BAM!" in "WHAM! BAM! Thankyoumummydaddyforbuyingthisformeafterthemonthsofwhining. This book is friggin' AWESOME!"*.

Behold, the trailer for Fallen by Lauren Kate.

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

And check out the cover! Dang, I have to wait 2 months for this?! Tis too long to wait. Thy (Thee?) shall hath to resorth to Olde English Speakth for this.

*I hope. I haven't read it yet. x)

Disclaimer: Credit for the implementation of WoW posts go to Jill at Breaking The Spine. Credit goes, and will always go, to her, for this and future WoW posts. I take no credit for this meme, and future WoW posts wouldn't exist without her. It should be taken note of that there might be times where I won't be writing this for every WoW post. That does not mean that I am taking credit for it. It just means that I'm just too lazy to write it down.
